The high strength of Domex® 100 can reduce product weight by as much as 40% which can reduce total costs by as much as 10%. Less product weight translates into increased payloads of structures, vehicles, containers, and equipment. Domex® 100 is used in anything that moves or lifts including cranes, agricultural equipment, trucks, dump bodies, recreational vehicles, buses, and automobiles.

Domex® 100 can be bent down to 1.6 times the thickness in cold conditions – five times tighter than conventional steel. Metallurgical controls during the production of Domex>® 100 ensure clean material with few inclusions, uniform mechanical properties, and consistent thickness tolerances for superior forming and welding characteristics. The material is not heat treated and has a very thin scale which can reduce costs to prepare the surface for painting. Domex® 100 is temper passed and will stay flat through production.

Use it, abuse it, enjoy it
Hardox provides a unique combination of hardness and toughness. This makes for smarter, lighter structures with extreme performance and extended service life.

Hardox is built to take a beating.
Rocks, sand, coal, minerals, scrap metal and any other hostile material have a hard time making a lasting impact on Hardox wear plates.

Tough enough not to crack.
It is not that hard to make hard steel. However, it’s really tough to keep it tough throughout the steelmaking process. Thanks to its extreme toughness, Hardox will, day after day, cope with shocks, jolts, bangs, nicks and jabs.

Weldox® 100(/700) is a high strength structural steel (700 MPa) with outstanding toughness for a multitude of load carrying structures and other applications. Leading features are uniform properties, easy to weld and possible to bend real tight.
